Police Intensifies Search For Armed Robbers

The Police in Accra have mounted a search for armed robbers who broke into the East Legon residence of Mr.. Philip Oduro Acheampong on the fifth of this month and made away with his personal belongings worth millions of cedis. A statement issued by the Greater Accra Regional Police Public Relations Unit today/yesterday, said the armed robbers locked Mr.. Acheampong in his toilet at gun point and made away with the items in his parked vehicle which was later retrieved by the Airport Police. The Police appealed to the public, especially dealers in electronic gadgets, to be on the look out for anyone who will offer suspected stolen items for sale.
