Police Inspector found dead hanging

Ajumako (C/R), May 23, GNA – Inspector Joseph Boamah of the Ajumako Bisease Police Station was on Wednesday found hanging dead on a tree at the outskirt of the town. Chief Inspector Maxwell Akorley, Station Officer of the Bisease Police Station told the Ghana News Agency at Bisease on Thursday that, on Monday May 19 2008, the wife of the deceased, whose name was not mentioned, reported to him that the husband could not be found for the past few days. He said the Central Regional Police Commander was then informed of the incident and dispatched a police search party to join their counterparts at Ajumako, Bisease and the Bisease community to look for him. Chief Inspector Akorley said the search party later found Boamah’s body hanging on a tree at the outskirt of Bisease. He said the decomposing body had now been deposited at the Police Hospital in Accra for autopsy.
