Police in Elmina mount search for mother of abandoned baby

Elmina C/R), Nov. 10, GNA – The Police in Elmina on Sunday began a search for the mother of a baby boy found abandoned at the offices of the Parks and Gardens at Elmina.

Police sources told the GNA at Elmina that the baby, which was about two weeks old, was found by a passer-by, at around 1020 hours. The baby was dressed up and put in a polythene bag with its feet sticking out.

The source said the baby, who had been placed under intensive care at the Central Regional Hospital, was doing well.
