Police identifies two dead bodies

Amasaman (GA), Oct. 18, GNA – The Amasaman police have identified two dead bodies allegedly murdered by five people at Pobiman near Amasaman over the weekend.

Briefing the GNA at Amasaman on Monday, ASP Amos Yelbony, crime officer and also acting District Commander gave their names as Agbenor Agbesa, 50 and Climent Vodo, 18. The Acting Commander said the five armed persons with locally manufactured guns entered the premises of the deceased at about 2030 hours and shot and killed them.

He said after the shooting, occupants of nearby houses came to the scene but the five men spotted by some witnesses escaped into the bush. Commander Yelbony said the police are investigating the case whereas the bodies have been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital for autopsy.
