Police hunts for man who defiled a JSS girl

Sankore, (B/A) Oct. 28, GNA- Police at Sankore in the Asunafo District is looking for a 20-year-old Appiah Kubi, alias “Chief” for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old Junior Secondary School girl at Sankore.

The girl’s father Godfred Kofi Asante told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Sankore that her daughter fell ill and could not go to school last Tuesday, October 21.

He said while lying alone in her bedroom, Appiah Kubi clandestinely entered the room, gagged her and forcibly had sex with his daughter on several occasions causing her to bleed profusely from her private part. Appiah Kubi then bolted and a report was made to Sankore Police. Medical reports from the Goaso Government Hospital showed that the girl suffered serious bruises at her genital organ. The Sankore police confirmed the reports.
