Police in Kumasi have intensified a hunt for more suspects in connection with Thursday’s bloody clashes between supporters of the New Patriotic Party.

Police in Kumasi have intensified a hunt for more suspects in connection with Thursday’s bloody clashes between supporters of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress over the management of a bus terminal.

Three suspects are so far in custody for their roles in the nasty incident that recorded several injuries but the police believe there are more persons who are related to the incident and must answer for their actions.

Deputy Ashanti Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Inspector Godwin Ahianyo revealed to mynewsgh.com that swoops will be conducted to fish out the perpetrators of the violence but disclosed that the injured persons are currently receiving treatment at various facilities.

Meanwhile the Tamale lorry station at Alabar in Kumasi where the incident happened Thursday has since been temporarily shutdown to avert a possible reprisal attacks.
