Police hunt for hit-and-run driver

Segbe, (VR), Jan. 10, GNA- Police at Segbe in the Volta Region are hunting for a hit-and-run driver who killed a 15-year-old Primary six pupil on Monday at Azor Seshie near Segbe on the Ho-Aflao trunk road. Seshie, a pupil of the Wudaoba L.A. Primary School was said to be at the roadside waiting for a vehicle at about 1900 hours to go to Denu when he vehicle hit and killed her instantly.

A Police source told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that people around could not identify the vehicle.

The source said the body had been deposited at the Saint Anthony’s Hospital for autopsy, while police investigations continue.
