Police hunt for chief after weapons were retrieved from his palace

The Police ‘Anti-Land guards Team’ has launched a search for a chief at Gomoa Feteh in the Central Region following the retrieval of some weapons cached in his palace.

The weapons retrieved included a G-3 rifle.

The Chief fled the area when the Police Anti-Land guards Team stormed his residence in the special operations by the police in parts of the Central Region including Kasoa and its environs which has seen over 100 suspected criminals being arrested in the past four days.

Six persons who are said to be the Chief’s bodyguards and some suspected land guards were among those arrested.

The self-styled chief, named Abore Yamoh is reported to have built a huge mansion in the area in which he harbours the suspected criminals who have been terrorizing innocent residents who go about their legitimate duties.
