Police Hospital to bury unclaimed bodies end of March

The Greater Accra Regional Police has asked the public to visit the Police Hospital’s pathology department to identify missing loved ones who may have been brought there to ensure they are not added to those earmarked for mass burial at the end of March 2017.

The mass burial exercise, according to a statement from the police, is part of a routine measure to decongest the police hospital’s morgue.

About 200 unknown and unclaimed bodies are expected to be buried.
