Police commends Kasoa residents

Kasoa, May 01, GNA- Mr Charles A. Adalong, the Assistant Superintendent of Police in-charge of Kasoa District, has commended the crime prevention consciousness of residents that has led to the arrest of criminals in the area.

“I am encouraging residents in other communities in the district to do so by passing information to us,” he said. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview on Monday at Kasoa, Mr Adalong said informants’ identity would be kept confidential and that those who could not come to the Station should call 020 8349405 or 0244 424559 for prompt action.

He said over the weekend residents at Peace Town, a suburb of Kasoa, spotted some robbers off loading sheep from a Madza Pick into an uncompleted building and raised an alarm. This led to the arrest of the occupants of the truck.
