The Accra Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service on Thursday, March 19 commissioned five new divisions to boost personnel visibility in the country’s capital.

The new divisions bring to 49 the total number of police divisions in the country.

The new divisions – Cantonments, Airport, Odorkor, Adentan and Amasaman – were created from the Kpeshie, Nima, Kaneshie, Madina and Tesano divisions respectively.
