Police asked to clear Kasoa Health Centre of intruders

Kasoa(c/r) June 11, GNA- Mr Isaac O. Lamptey, Medical Superintendent in charge of the Kasoa Government Health Centre, has appealed to the police to clear the premises of the health facility of encroachers. He said the encroachers including transport operators and hawkers made excessive noise that affected the treatment of patients.

Mr Lamptey who made the call at a press briefing at Kasoa in the Central Region said the situation had got out of hand. He said all efforts to persuade the intruders to vacate the premises voluntarily had proved futile hence the need for the police to intervene.

Mr Lamptey said the drivers often parked in front of the centre, thus denying access to patients being conveyed for treatment. The Medical Superintendent expressed the hope that the law enforcement agencies would take drastic action to reverse the situation.
