Police arrests teacher for assisting friend to rape student

Hohoe, March 4, GNA-Stanley Dadugblor, a 21-year-old teacher of the Fiape-Agbesia Junior Secondary School who baited a student to be raped by his friend has found himself entangled by the law. Dadugblor is assisting the Hohoe Police to apprehend the principal suspect Prince Kumah, now at large, for their connivance and plotting the crime to rape a final year student of a Senior Secondary School in the Hohoe district.

Mr Kwabena Antwi-Boasiako, Hohoe District Police Commander who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency said on February 7, this year, Dadugblor lured the victim from her room at about 2200 hours into that of Kumah and later excused them, which paved way for the sexual assault. He said Kumah who had locked all doors, pounced on the victim, fondled her and forcefully had sex with her.

The victim was gagged and could not scream.

Meanwhile, Police have stepped up search for Kumah while Dadugblor would be put before court.
