Police arrest two suspects for allegedly smuggling arms

Accra, Jan. 10, GNA – The Greater Accra Regional Police Command on Tuesday arrested two persons in Accra for allegedly attempting to smuggle quantities of arms and ammunition to Nigeria. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Rose Atinga Bio, Greater Accra Regional Police Commander confirmed the arrest and said the suspects were a Ghanaian and a Nigerian. The police are investigating the matter.
