Police arrest two over death of palm wine taper.

Motoso (W/R) Dec. 24, GNA- Isaac Annor and Kwame Odoi, farmers at Motoso near Enchi, were at the weekend arrested and placed in police custody for alleged involvement in the murder of Kwadwo Yaga, a 54-year-old palm wine taper.

The suspects were said to have beaten Yaga to death when he was allegedly found in their room in the night. He was said to be drunk and could not find his way to his house.

Mr Fleance Sienim Adeka, Assistant Superintendent of Police at Enchi, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the suspects mistook the deceased for a thief when he entered their room holding a knife.
