Twifo-Praso (C/R), June 3, GNA – The police at Twifo-Praso on Thursday arrested one Bright Amakwandoh, a native of the town for allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old JSS girl.
The Twifo-Hemang-lower-Denkyira district police commander, Mr Peter Ayirezang told the Ghana News Agency at Twifo-Praso that Amakwandoh’s arrest followed a complaint lodged by the girl’s father.
According to him, the girl’s father detected that his daughter was pregnant and when he questioned her, she named Amakwandoh as the one responsible for her pregnancy.
The police commander said the suspect would be put before court as soon as investigations are completed.
