Police arrest hit-and-run driver

Hohoe (V/R), Aug. 6, GNA – The Hohoe Police have arrested a driver who knocked and killed Idrissu Moro, a 40-year-old driver on the Likpe-Nkwanta segment of the Hohoe-Likpe-Bakua road. Police arrested Seth Apeku and his accomplice, Idrissu Fuseini, following a tip-off. A Hohoe Circuit Court has remanded Apeku when he appeared before it charged with murder and failure to report an accident. Fuseini is however serving a bail bond under abetment of crime. The two pleaded not guilty to charges and are to re-appear on August 9, this year.
