Police arrest another suspect in Nkwanta murder case

Nkwanta (V/R), Dec. 21, GNA – The Nkwanta police have apprehended another suspect in connection with the murder of 32-year-old James Mpoacha at Nkwanta.

The deceased was allegedly murdered by two of his friends and dumped in a bush. The Nkwanta police located Mpoacha’s decomposed body off the Odomi-Nkwanta main road after a thorough search and arrested Sulemana Alhassan, butcher.

He has been remanded by an Nkwanta Magistrate Court into prison custody and is to reappear on January 7 next year. The accomplice, Mumuni Adam, 48, a farmer, was arrested on November 30 when he was reported to have been undergoing fortification processes to avoid police arrest.
