Police arrest amputee for attacking teacher at Akyem Maase

The Akyem Tafo District Police Command has arrested Kwasi Essimeng John, an Amputee farmer who attacked and allegedly inflicted cutlass wound on a teacher while in School.

The suspect was arrested when he went to the Police station to also make a case against the Teacher.

According to the Akyem Tafo District Police Commander, caution statement of the suspect is being taken for prosecution.

Tuesday’s incident led to the closure of the Maase Methodist Junior High School but the Municipal Education Director, Elizabeth Amankwaa told Ultimate News, school will be re-opened on Wednesday while a date is fixed for community engagement.
