Police arrest a taxi driver for killing son

Bismark Donkor, a taxi driver in Gomoa Aseibu near Winneba Junction, has been arrested by the police in Winneba for allegedly killing his nine-month old son. Donkor is in police custody assisting in the investigations.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) John Paul Akonde, Winneba District MTTU Commander, told the GNA that the suspect, after washing the taxi on August 3, reversed and killed his son who had crawled under the taxi.

ASP Akonde said, the body of the decease has since been deposited at Trauma and Specialist Hospital, in Winneba and the taxi cab also impounded.
