POJOSS launches golden jubilee anniversary

Koforidua, Oct. 2, GNA – Professor R.K. Asabre, former Rector of Accra Polytechnic, observed that the attainment of academic excellence and high moral values were significant for national development. He said Ghana’s educational system should be designed to produce personnel with academic excellence and morality. Prof. Asabre was speaking at the launch of the golden jubilee anniversary of Pope John High School and Junior Seminary (POJOSS), in Koforidua on Wednesday, Mr Kwame Djangbah, President of the New Juaben Branch of POJOBA, appealed to the old students to contribute to the development of the school.

Mr Larweh Odenteh, Headmaster of the school, appealed to individuals and organisations to assist the school to rehabilitate its science laboratory. Mr Daniel Dugan, Deputy Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs, urge the students to study hard to enable them to pass their examinations to justify the investment being made in their education by government.
