PNC picks parliamentary candidate for Talensi

Tongo (UER), Sept. 27, GNA – A 46-year-old Accountant and the District Director of Sefwi-Wiawso Produce Buying Company, Mr Samuel Narook Kuug has been elected unopposed, as the parliamentary candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC) for Talensi.

A 12-member Constituency Executive under the chairmanship of Mr Michael Dunn was also endorsed at a delegates’ conference, at Tongo in the Upper East Region.

Mr Kuug called on the supporters to work hard to ensure the electoral victory of the PNC.

A leading member of the Party, Colonel David Zanlerigu (Rtd), advised supporters to campaign peacefully without resorting to insults or violence.

He urged them to show their strength in the constituency by coming out massively to vote for the PNC in December.
