PNC Lauds Rawlings For Honouring NRC?s Subpoena

The Peoples National Convention (PNC), has lauded Former President Rawlings? appearance at Thursday?s sitting of the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC), calling it a victory for democracy.

According to the PNC, Mr. Rawlings appearance indicates that he (Rawlings) has respect for the rule of law. The Protocol officer of the Grand Coalition (comprising the GCPP,EGLE Party, PNDC & CPP), Reverend Nana Opoku I made these remarks in an interview.

Reverend Nana Opoku, who is also a member of the PNC stated that for the former President to honour the commission?s subpoena, lends credence to the fact that, Ghana?s Young Democracy has blossomed. He also commended the NRC for a good job done by sticking to the issues raised in the subpoena.
