The Flag-bearer of the People?s National convention (PNC), Dr Edward Mahama says that solving the country?s current economic mess calls for politicians who are dedicated and prepared to sacrifice for the national cause.
Dr Mahama, in an interview told Space Fm that the (PNC) is seeking the mandate of the people in the forthcoming presidential elections because of its philosophy of contributing to nation building rather than taking from the Nation.
The PNC leader accused government officials of using the country?s meager financial resources for their personal comfort and failing to show initiative as far as moderation is concerned.
He cited as an example the current situation where ministers of state draw on Ghana?s meager financial resources for free fuel, accommodation and utilities.
