PLAYBACK: NDC chairman addresses media after election defeat

It’s a defeat few saw coming. It has seen the governing party lose control of the legislature and the executive. The more interesting twist to this however is the now vociferous silent majority in the party who appeared dissatisfied with the way and manner in which things were handled.

Accusations and counter accusations of members within the NDC remain the most dominant feature in the news following its emphatic defeat last Wednesday.

Ceasefire: The clarion call by some senior members of the party to disgruntled members. But what has been the reaction following this order? Not much appears to have changed since but the party hopes to drum home this point as it addresses the media today on some key issues dominating the country’s political discourse.
