Placement of BECE candidates to be completed …

by September 17

Kumasi, Sept. 8, GNA – Placement of 2011 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates would be completed before September 17 this year.

Those who opted for the 30 per cent Catchment Area Allocation would, however, be admitted to their respective schools of choice by October.

These are contained in a circular signed by Mrs Victoria Opoku, Director, Secondary Education Division, of Ghana Education Service and distributed to all District Chief Executives, Regional and District Directors of Education in Ashanti.

The letter advised the candidates to process the Computer Selections School Placement forms in their various schools and district education offices as early as possible.

Candidates, who would complete processing the forms, would be admitted to one of the listed Senior High Schools in the catchment area, depending upon the raw scores obtained and available vacancies and programs.
