Physical Education instructor to contest NDC post in C/R

Elmina (C/R), Dec. 7, GNA – Mr John Arthur, a member of the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem Constituency branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has declared his intention to contest the post of Central Regional Youth Organiser. Mr Arthur who disclosed this at a meeting with the youth wing of the party at Elmina said his extensive knowledge about the region would put boost his efforts to steer the affairs of the youth. The youth he said, needed some one who was versatile, dynamic and energetic and above all humble and peace loving and vision driven. He said his experience as a physical education and sports instructor would enhance good organisation and leadership skills of the NDC in the region, to facilitate the party’s better Ghana agenda. Mr Arthur said when voted to power he would ensure that the youth wing of the party are strengthened to fall in line with the party’s youth policy in the 2004 manifesto.
