Photos: Mahama reveals hidden talent

President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday, June 27, 2015 exhibited his football skills to a cheering crowd at the Stephen Appiah’s testimonial match held at the Accra Sports stadium.

The testimonial match was organized by the former Black Stars captain, as he bid farewell to his football career after years of playing for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Before the commencement of the game, President Mahama displayed his skills with a ceremonial kick off.

Present to grace the occasion were the two former Presidents of Ghana; Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kuffuor.

Appiah played for some of the best clubs in Europe including Italian giants Juventus during a career largely described as successful.

The game ended with a 2 – 2 goals from all sides; with Stephen Appiah scoring his last goal to bow an end to his football proffession.
