As part of its corporate social responsibility, EPP Books Services, has donated a variety of academic books, Laptops, chairs, etc., to the Nursing and Post-Graduate schools of the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Territorial Manager of EPP Books, Faisal Ibrahim Cisse during the presentation ceremony at the 37 Military Hospital, said the presentation is in fulfillment of a pledge made to the two institutions about a year ago by the CEO of the company.

“The CEO was touched by an appeal made to him by authorities of the institution, when he paid a visit to the libraries of the institution,” Cisse added.

He disclosed that EPP Books, considers the hospital as one of the most valuable assets of the country as far as quality health service is concerned, and that he believes the donation will go a long way to improving the quality of teaching which would eventually reflect in the quality of service to be received by patients in the hospital and Ghana as a whole.

“This hospital is known world-wide as one that delivers quality health service with empathy, patience and urgency. We are therefore happy to be part of the success story and are very hopeful these books and equipment would be put to good use for the benefit of all students,”

“This is just the beginning of many others to come, since EPP Books, is committed to playing its role in the academic development of Ghanaians in general,” Cisse said.

“Soon we shall be rolling out one of our biggest projects dubbed,‘Stock Your Library’ project where a good number of educational institutions across the country will be having their libraries stocked with books from us free of charge,” he said.

The ceremony was graced by the heads of both the Nursing and Post-Graduate Schools of the hospital as well as alumni of the institution.
