Photos: Bawumia at Eid-Ul-Fitr

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) yesterday July 18, 2015 joined Muslims in Ashaiman to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr.

Eid-ul-Fitr is an Islamic festival celebrated to mark the end of Ramadan, a month long fasting period for Muslims.

Dr Bawumia in a message on his social media wished all Muslims a Happy Eid-Ul-Fitr as they celebrate the Islamic festival.

“Eid Mubarak to everyone and may Allah continue to Bless Us” he said.

A statement from the Ministry of Interior has declared Monday, July 20, 2015 as a statutory holiday because the Eid-ul-Fitr falls on a weekend.

The general public is hereby, informed that Monday 20th July 2015, has been declared a public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
