Photographers asked use their products to market tourism

Hohoe (V/R), July 23, GNA- Professional photographers in the Hohoe District have been tasked to use their products to market tourism in the area.

Mr James Komla Dogbe, Hohoe District Chief Executive (DCE) made the call when he inaugurated a branch of the Ghana Union of Professional Photographers at Hohoe on Tuesday.

He said the district is endowed with beautiful tourism attractions, which include the highest waterfall in West Africa, the monkey sanctuary and the highest mountain in the country.

Mr Dogbe urged the photographers to take pictures of the beautiful tourism attractions and market them to the public.

He appealed to them to use their profession to assist the District Assembly’s HIV/AIDS educational programme and pay their taxes promptly. Mr Jim Dan Selasie, National Secretary of the Union, appealed to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to streamline the collection of taxes from members.
