Photo taking exercise takes off in Tema smoothly

Tema, June 18, GNA – The photo taking exercise for voters took off smoothly in the Tema area, except few hitches at some polling centres visited by the Ghana News Agency.

While laminators at three polling centres complained that they were not supplied with rollers and that they were using their thumbs to fasten laminations, other centres also complained of having only laminators and cameramen without sorters.

The centres, which made the complaints, included the Community One Police Station and Padmore One and Two areas.

As at 0920 hours, the Tema Community One Police Centre had taken the photographs of 68 persons while Mount Zion One and Two centres in Community Three had recorded 18 and 20 photographs, respectively, as at 0755 hours.

At Padmore One and Two centres, 201 persons and 120 persons, respectively, had their photographs taken by 1700 hours with people still trooping in.
