Accra, Feb. 8, GNA – An 18-year-old female petty trader and a squatter at the Tema Station Lorry Park, who murdered her day-old son by intentionally dumping him in a gutter was on Tuesday remanded in prison custody by an Accra Circuit court.
The plea of Dora Xorve Dzidzornu was not taken and she is to reappear on February 18.
The prosecution said the accused was arrested when the complainant, one Asante, also a trader at the Station, reported the incident to the Ministries Police Station after she saw blood stains around and discovered the baby in the gutter.
The prosecution said, Dora admitted the offence in her caution statement. 08 Feb. 05
