People of Buoyem donate to flood victims

Buoyem (B/A), Nov 6, GNA – The people of Buoyem, in collaboration with the zonal council in Techiman municipality, have donated items worth more than 350 million cedis to the northern flood victims. The items were 10 bags of maize, five mini bags of gari, footwear, used clothing, water containers, wall clocks and tape recorders. Presenting the items Madam Dina Karikari, Assembly Member for Buoyem, said people in the three northern regions are going through difficulties and called on all to show concern. Mr. Richard Zokpoh, zonal secretary who received the items, commended the donors and pledged that the items would be presented to the victims.
