People of Brahoho construct clinic through self-help

The people of Brahoho, a farming community in Nkoranza District, have launched a two-year programme to construct a clinic estimated at 75 million cedis.

Mr Obeng Boateng, chairman of the project implementation committee, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the residents are contributing 10,000 cedis a man and 5,000 cedis a woman whilst non-residents are paying 50,000 cedis a man and 30,000 cedis a woman.

A fund-raising harvest will be held on Easter Sunday to generate more funds for the project, Mr Boateng said.

He appealed to the people to pay their contributions promptly to ensure early completion of the project.
