People faked tears and tributes for Mills – NPP

The New Patriotic Party has expressed skepticism about the level of outpouring of tributes and tears from all manner of persons in honour of the late President Mills.

According to the NPP, many of the tributes celebrating the late President were fake and insincere.

Shakar Salar who is a member of the NPP communication team made this known when he spoke on Radio XYZ’s current affairs program the Analyst on Saturday.

He said “they are some people who are actually acting; you could observe that some of the people just wanted the cameras to capture them.

“Others were crying because of what they had lost but there was a lot of acting and exaggeration going on”.**
