Peace corps volunteer presents books to school

Badu (B/A), Sept. 20, GNA – Miss Serah Hesse, a peace corps volunteer, in conjunction with friends in the United States of America, has donated assorted books worth more than 600,000 cedis to the Badu Secondary Technical School.

Making the presentation, Miss Hesse, who is a tutor in elective mathematics, said she was proud to be associated with the school. She pledged to donate a computer with accessories to the school in a few months’ time.

The books included those in mathematics, science and English and some periodicals. Receiving the books, Mr Asuo Yeboah, Headmaster, thanked the donors for the gesture and expressed the hope others would emulate Miss Hesse and her friends and assist in the development of the school
