Pay attention to technical education – Expert tells gov’t

A civil engineer and advocate for technical and vocational education, Mr. Desmond Daniel Darkey has thrown a word of caution to leaders of the country on how the nation is gradually losing insight into technical and vocational education.

He noted that several advanced countries took this sector more serious hence, their prosperity and economic power in the world today.

He wonders why certain courses are rated above technical and vocational education in Ghana.

With him, the concentration of polytechnics into technical universities in Ghana is a welcoming on that can see the nation through various developmental reforms.
