PAWA decorates Nana Addo with NOBEL Patron of the Arts Award

The Pan African Writers Association (PAWA) has decorated President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with Pawa’s Nobel Patron of the Arts Award.

The decoration was done on the occasion of the celebration of the 24th International African Writers’ Day and the official opening of PAWA’s Continental Colloquium.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was presented with a medallion, a certificate and a traditional stool.

General Secretary of PAWA, Prof. Atukwei Okai said the presentation was in recognition for the president’s contribution to PAWA.

President Nana Akufo-Addo was the Guest of Honour at the 9th and 13th International African Writers’ Day Celebration on November 7, in 2001 and 2005 when he was the Foreign Affairs Minister.
