Nine months after an Accra Court Presided over by Her Lordship Doris Bempong has ruled that the marriage between Pastor Sunshine Adam, husband, and Daphne Serwa Boadu, wife, be dissolved forthwith on the grounds that the marriage between the two has broken down beyond reconciliation, and ordered that the only child of the marriage Star Adamu Adam be given custody to Daphne Boadu with additional orders that Pastor
Sunshine Adam be given reasonable access to his daughter, the child has been declared missing .. Every step taken by the father of the child to trace and see the face of his only child has proved futile as on several occasions his efforts to reach the child have been blocked bypowerful hands with direct access to the Presidency in Ghana.
Two pillars of the Charismatic Ministry,Arc-Bishop Nicholas Duncan Williams,General Overseer of Action Faith Ministry and Rev.Eastwood Anaba of the Fountain Gate Chapel based in Bolga have been allegedly cited in the controversy in the post-marital tussle between Pastor Sunshine Adam and his ex-wife Daphne Serwaa Boadu.

Adams Documents in possession of The Vanguard has confirmed the engagement between Sunshine Anaba Adam and Daphne was legally sealed 8-months before they tied the knot amidst pomp and pageantry graced by several men and women of the Charismatic Movement. The 5-year old child, Vanguard investigations have uncovered, is said to have been abducted by her mother,Daphne Serwa Boadu, a Ghanaian born British national and taken to an unknown destination in London. As at the time of going to Press The Vanguard picked signals that a family court in London has ordered Daphne Serwa Boadu to disclose the whereabouts of the missing child in accordance with Section 33 Act 1986 of Britain. Documents available to The Vanguard reveals that Daphne Serwa Boadu was admitted to St Helier Hospital in London to deliver the baby on 28th April 2010. The referral letter was signed by Prof.J.D.Sefah,Obstetrician and gyneaecologist It stated in part: This lady has been under our care for about 7-months.Her pregnancy has been confirmed by a scan and her expected date of delivery is the 7th of July 2010.She is fit to travel by air. Vanguard investigations have revealed
that the one page referral by the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital kick- started the ordeal of Pastor Sunshine Adam. Five years since he sent his exwife to the United Kingdom for safe delivery has turned out to be five years of pain, trauma, anguish and a drain of hard earned resources. The affable yet anguished Pastor feels the touch of his child in
dreams but not by the flesh. When The Vanguard contacted Rev. Sunshine Adam in his office for his side of the story, the visibly shocked man of God only asked this reporter to see his lawyers for details of his ordeal but when probed further, he confirmed that
he was married to Daphne Serwa Boadu, and also confirmed that the marriage has been dissolved by a court of competent jurisdiction and said five years after the court had ruled that he should be given reasonable access to his child, he has not seen the face of the baby. Several efforts to reach Daphne Serwa Boadu has been in vain as she is said to have vacated her London home to an unknown location. An attempt by The Vanguard to talk to a lawyer said to be representing Daphne in Ghana is deadlocked. Stay tuned for more on this horrific episode.
