Pastors asked to preach perseverance

Kumasi, Jan. 29, GNA – Reverend Appiah-Kusi Kyenkyenhene, Founder and Leader of the Christian Heritage Church in Kumasi has called on Pastors and other religious leaders to preach perseverance. He held that this would not only help the congregation to overcome their problems, but it would also help them to develop spiritually. Reverend Kyenkyenhene was delivering a sermon at the second Graduation and Ordination ceremony of 11 student Pastors of the Grace Bible College at Abrepo-Adumanu in Kumasi on Sunday.

He observed that many Christians especially, Pastors, enter into difficulties and fall victim to the devil because they do not prepare fully for the work of God.

He stressed the need for the Graduates to be real role models, spiritually and morally and be committed to their call if they wanted to succeed.

“You should allow God to guide you in your activities so that you will not be swept off your feet by worldly events,” he urged. Rev. Anthony Kwevi, Principal of the College, resented Certificates and admonished the graduates to endeavour to preach nothing other than the pure word of God.

He said the College was working hard to obtain accreditation from the national Accreditation board and also an affiliation certificate from a principal school in the United States to enable it undertake higher academic programmes in future.

Rev. Kingsley Aning Bonsu, Founder and Leader of Grace Outreach Church and President of the College, said the College was committed to achieving academic excellence in its efforts to expand the frontiers of the Gospel worldwide.

He appealed to the graduates not to rest on their oars but to work assiduously to support the development of the Church.
