Pastor urges communities to support the needy

Pokuase, (G/A), Jan. 16, GNA – Pastor Baah Sarfo, Head Pastor of the Light of Salvation Church at Pokuase in the Greater Accra Region has urged Christians to support the poor to have faith in Christ in all their doings rather than depending on the promises of fake pastors and prophets.

Pastor Sarfo gave the advice in a sermon during the church’s first anniversary celebration held at Pokuase.

He also called on politicians to stop sowing seeds of division among the people when they mount political platforms but instead preach peace and togetherness to move the nation forward. The Pastor, urged the youth, especially the ladies, to be mindful of the appalling way they dress in public. Pastor Stephen Opoku, Afram Plains District Pastor of the Church explained that the aim of the church is to cater for the needy by putting up vocational institutions, health centers, orphanages and community farms to create job opportunities for the youth to supplement government’s efforts.

Pastor Daniel Ofosu, Accra District Pastor of the Church advised Christians to refrain from luxurious lifestyle and use their monies to assist the needy in society. 16 Jan. 07
