Pastor makes flamboyant entry in Rolls Royce with long convoy

Many religious people find the extravagant lifestyles of some religious figures offensive, but that does not change the flamboyant life style of some preachers.

Pastor Alph Lukau, founder and General Overseer of Alleluia Ministries International, a South Africa based faith organization, may be one of such preachers.

In a video upload the on the preacher’s YouTube channel, he is seen arriving to a church in a presidential-style convoy comprising of sleek white Rolls Royce accompanied by not less than 10 other cars riding behind.

With horse riders leading the convoy and police outriders following them on a traffic free road, ushers were also lined up on the streets to welcome the ‘man of God’.

At the event venue which was packed with thousands of people ready to hear this man speak, some people believed to be leaders of the gathering were also seen outside giving the pastor a ‘presidential’ welcome before ushering him inside upon his arrival.

It is not clear how Pastor Alph Lukau coins his pretty penny but the video of his flashy arrival to a program has generated some controversy on social media.

“Huh wow. Lord, can you please allow your angel to sound the last trumpet or we’ll all be doomed. Smh” one person commented on Facebook in reaction to the video. “Is this a celebrity pastor or a real man of God?” another person quizzed.

It is disappointing that a lot of men of God are concentrating on competing on who is rich and who is driving the best car on the expense of preaching the word of God.
