Pastor Kumuyi performs miracles in Kumasi

A true reflection of the “Bible days” happened at Brofoyedru in the Kumasi Metropolis as people from all walks of life with all forms of infirmities received their healing at the weekend.

The lame walked and the blind saw at the retreat ground of the Deeper Life Bible Church, when Pastor William F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Church held a one-day revival service.

Captives were also set free from the bondage of sin (saved) when the founder of the church which has its headquarters in Nigeria, led the congregation in prayer.

Many of them could not hide their joy as they shared their testimonies amidst uncontrollable tears.

The visit of Pastor Kumuyi to the Kumasi metropolis was the second after he held a similar service at the Jason Park in 2006.

Though it was organised to revive members of the Deeper Life Bible Church to enable them to embark on active evangelism to win more souls for Christ, other people from various faiths and denominations attended.

All the seven halls at the retreat ground were filled to capacity as thousands of people struggled for seats.

The visit also provided a brisk business opportunity for some food vendors and other petty traders in the metropolis as demand for food and other necessities of life were very high.

Sachet water which currently sells at 10 pesewas was selling at 30 pesewas at the service grounds while fan milk and Yogurt were also selling at GHC1 instead of the normal 70 pesewas and 90 pesewas respectively.

A ball of kenkey was pegging at GHC1 and above instead of 50 pesewas.

Though consumers complained bitterly about the exorbitant food prices, they rushed in queues for it as there was no other option.
