Party activists build capacity on conflict resolution

Kumasi, Oct 27, GNA – A two-day workshop to build the capacity of selected members of the Inter-Party Youth Dialogue Committee (IPYDC) on conflict resolution and management has opened in Kumasi on Thursday.

It is on the theme: “Building youth capacities for peace in 2012”, and seeks to equip participants with basic skills for handling conflicts and peace promotion as the nation prepares for the 2012 General Election. About 50 participants from Ho, Tamale, Sunyani, Takoradi and Kumasi are attending the event that was jointly organized by the West Africa Network for Peace Building (WANEP), Canadian High Commission and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
