Parts of Dzorwulu flooded after Friday’s rains

Parts of Dzorwulu were on Friday flooded following hours of torrential rains in the capital.

The situation is said to have stalled business activity as the downpour made it virtually impossible for pedestrians to navigate their way through otherwise familiar routes.

At Dzorwulu junction, a popular bus stop in the area close to the Perez Chapel, scores of people could be seen in a desperate attempt to ‘overcome’ the challenge created by the rainwater as the roads had become virtually impossible to use by commuters.

The situation was no different for vehicle owners whom many would have thought, would have had a much easier task. But the poor nature of the roads couple with the rains ensured that they suffered a fate similar to that of passers by.
