Accra, Nov.2, GNA – A Parliamentary delegation led by Mr Peter Ala Adjetey, the Speaker, on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on President John Agyekum Kufuor at the Castle, Osu.
Mr Ala Adjetey said the visit was for both the Executive and the Legislature to exchange ideas and views on their performance as the tenure of the Third Parliament of the Fourth Republic drew to an end. He said both institutions had been co-operating to run affairs of the nation.
Mr Ala Adjetey said the delegation had representatives from both sides of the House, the Clerk and other members of the Secretariat. President Kufuor expressed appreciation for the visit.
