Parents urged to facilitate education of their kids

Prophetess Elizabeth Quayeba Abredu, in-charge of the “Promiseland Prayer Camp” of the Christ Apostolic Church in the Suhum Municipality, has noted that education must equip a person to effectively participate in development activities.

Prophetess Quayeba Abredu said this when addressing teachers, parents and pupils from the Achiansa and Anum Apapam branches of the Future Stars Preparatory School at Achiansa in the Eastern Region.

The prophetess, who founded the school, noted that it is the duty of parents to set the pace for the general training of their children, before teachers help to enhance their qualities.

She urged parents to show commitment to their children’s education because, as stakeholders, they have to help to redeem the falling standard of education in their communities.

Prophetess Abredu said there is the need to provide skill training to young people in deprived areas, because the youth are the future leaders of the country.
