Parents urged to budget towards children’s education

Apostle Abraham Owusu Puni, Proprietor of Grace Mission Preparatory School at Amanase in the Eastern Region, has asked parents to make serious financial budget towards the education of their children.
He said without that parents would be found wanting after they have spent their monies on clothing and other things at the expense of their children’s education.
Apostle Owusu Puni gave the advice when the school celebrated its 19th anniversary on the theme: “All Your Children to Be Educated,” at Amanase.
He said when parents become committed to the education of their wards it would help prevent them from indulging in sex which would lead to teenage pregnancies, alcoholism and smoking.
Apostle Owusu Puni said he established the Grace Mission Preparatory School in January 1996 with 23 pupils as his personal contribution towards education in the Ayensuano District. The school now has 300 boys and 50 girls.
He appealed to philanthropists and non-governmental organisations to come to his aid in expanding the school infrastructure as well as the provision of computers and boarding accommodation for the children.
