Parents asked to have the number of children they can cater for

Mpobi (Ash), June 2, GNA- Mr Kusi Aboraa, Ashanti Regional Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), has advised married couples to give birth to the number of children they could adequately take cater of.

He called on parents to invest in education of their children so that they could acquire skills and knowledge necessary for national development.

Mr Aboraa was speaking at a forum organised by the Kwabre directorate of the NCCE at Mpobi on Wednesday, as part of his three-day working visit to the district to educate the people on their civic duties and responsibilities.

The Regional Director advised the people to pay their taxes regularly to enable government generate funds for develop. He also urged them unite for the development of the area and not to allow politics to divide them. Mr Emmanuel Anniboye, Kwabre District Director of the NCCE, commended Ghanaians for appreciating democracy and urged them to contribute their quota towards national development.
